Patrick is an experienced and highly qualified real estate professional. He has been involved in the industry since 2005 and has completed over $100 million in real estate transactions by representing both buyers and sellers, providing site selection/tenant representation, and leasing of office and retail properties. Before embarking on his journey in real estate, Patrick served for over five years in the Army Reserves and attended North Carolina State University.
He has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2007 and the SIOR designation (office specialty) in 2023. Patrick prides himself on being a knowledgeable and active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the North Carolina and Fayetteville Realtor Association, as well as being a part of the Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce. In 2021 he became president of the NC CCIM Chapter’s executive committee board of directors. He holds a real estate license in North Carolina and South Carolina.
In Patrick’s free time, he enjoys mountaineering, ice climbing, hiking, and any other mountain sport he can find. He’s married with three kids and has been a long time resident of Fayetteville.
Neil Grant founded Grant-Murray Real Estate in 2005 with Patrick Murray and is an owner and principal broker licensed in North Carolina. Born and raised in Fayetteville, Neil understands what is happening in the community and in the commercial and residential real-estate markets in Cumberland County and the surrounding area. Neil works with international, national, regional, and local clients investing, buying, and selling commercial property in the Greater Fayetteville area.
Prior to his career as a real-estate broker, Neil owned and managed properties. He has successfully combined his practical experience in property management with his extensive knowledge of real estate to create a thriving, full‑service, commercial real estate and investment brokerage firm. Even though Grant-Murray Real Estate has grown exponentially, Neil still continues to “walk the land” and each property to provide first-hand knowledge and perspectives to each client. As principal broker, Neil continues to learn every day and provides leadership to brokers and other staff members at Grant-Murray Real Estate.
Currently, Neil specializes in several aspects of commercial real estate: Leasing for small, large, and national tenants; commercial purchases for small, large, existing locations, multi-family units, area most prolific industrial broker ; recently building local brands for clients in several categories, assisting new and established clients with commercial projects from start to finish; assisting clients with Department of Transportation (DOT) issues; negotiating with property owners to sell property currently not for sale; and listing properties for sale or lease.
He is on the Board of Directors of the Fayetteville YMCA. He enjoys boating, other out‑door activities, and time with family and friends. Neil is friendly with the entire community and is well known . Neil is a relational broker but still strives to continue to utilize new technologies.

Richard attended N.C. State University where he earned a B.S. in Business Management, with a Marketing concentration. Richard went on to attend Campbell University Law School where he earned his juris doctorate (J.D.). Richard is a North Carolina licensed attorney in addition to a licensed real estate broker. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Richard practiced law for more than 10 years primarily concentrated in Business Law/Litigation, Construction Law/Litigation and Real Property Litigation. For that reason, Richard brings a special knowledge and unique perspective to his real estate practice.
Although Richard primarily focuses on multi-family transactions (apartments and mobile home communities), his brokerage practice also includes land, office, retail, and industrial.
In 2025, Richard closed 132 multi-family units (apartments and MHCs), which led him to receive Costar’s annual Power Broker Award for sales. Richard instills trust and confidence in his clients to create agent-client teamwork and, ultimately, to achieve desired results for them.
A graduate of Methodist University, Gary’s experience in commercial real estate includes working with investors, developers and business owners. Gary’s knowledge in retail, land development, multi-family and shopping center in both leasing and sales positions him as a leader in this market. Gary is also an expert in maritime practices and commercial fishing.

Steve is originally from Rhode Island, however, after serving many years with the U.S. Army Special Forces in a variety of locals he specifically chose to live, work, and play in the Fayetteville, NC area. He has extensive experience in real estate investments and is a strong advocate for this market and all of its potential.
Roger Marx is a CRE broker at Grant Murray Real Estate, it is the leading commercial
real estate brokerage firm in the Sandhills area and is in Fayetteville North Carolina,
representing landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers in commercial transactions. Roger understands the importance of both the analytics and the human aspect of this industry. Chuck MaxwelI was born in Fayetteville, NC and attended East Carolina University where he received a B.S. in Biology and the University of North Carolina where he earned a D.D.S. from the School of Dentistry. For a total of 29 years, Dr. Maxwell practiced Dentistry in Hope Mills. He’s been a commercial broker for 6 years with Grant Murray where he specializes in land sales — everything from residential lots to large parcels for commercial development.
In his spare time, he’s an avid sportsman and recently became involved in CTO (Cross Trail Outfitters) a Christian organization that allows young men and women to experience the benefits of the outdoors where they’re able to learn hunting, fishing, and camping.
Vishal is a North Carolina native and graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. He grew up in a retail family which led him to take over and grow his family retail business. His urge to grow and learn led him to achieve his real estate licence.
His understanding of the Fayetteville market and the retail industry helps him understand his client’s needs. He is currently a licensed broker with both Grant Murray Homes and Grant Murray Real Estate.
Karishma was born and raised in Chennai, India. She moved to Belize, Central America with her family where she finished high school and earned her Master’s in Business Administration. Karishma married Vishal Nandwani, a North Carolina native. She started her career in retail and landed in the real estate office administration world. In the last 9 years, Karishma has grown to love and evolve in the real estate world. She is a licensed broker, as well as an Associate in Professional Human Resources (aPHR) and is proud to be the front face of Grant-Murray.

Raymond, a native of Fayetteville, NC became a licensed agent in 2007. Before coming to Grant-Murray Real Estate Raymond owned and operated a real estate firm and property management company. Raymond is well-rounded and versed in buyer and seller representation. Raymond also enjoys tenant and owner representation in lease transactions.
He specializes in multi-family, retail, and office. Additionally, Raymond has extensive experience working with investors, churches, non-profit organizations and start-up businesses. He is a graduate of Fayetteville State University.
Greg Spears was born in Fayetteville, NC and attended Campbell University, where he received a B.S. Degree in Sociology. Greg has been a commercial broker in North Carolina for the past 14 years. Previously, he developed Real Estate for himself and others since 1988. In addition, Greg also developed several car washes for various owners in North and South Carolina and Virginia. During this time, he gained a lot of experience in commercial real estate, in areas such as site selection, building design, construction, sub-contracting, business models for bank financing, and complete permitting process. Greg is also an avid sports fan and active member at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.
Corey Croegaert is a results-driven commercial real estate broker serving the Fayetteville and greater Southeastern North Carolina market. He has closed more than $10 million in commercial real estate transactions, establishing himself as one of the region’s emerging industry leaders. Corey specializes in commercial investment sales, development land, office, retail, and industrial properties, working closely with investors, developers, and business owners to identify opportunities and structure transactions that create long-term value.
Before entering commercial real estate, Corey spent a decade in corporate leadership with Speedway and 7-Eleven, advancing from Intern to District Manager, Lead District Manager, Strategic Project Manager, and ultimately Market Leader. He oversaw operations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia, managing over 1,000 employees and more than 100 multi-million-dollar businesses. This experience sharpened the leadership, operational, and strategic skills he brings to every client engagement.
Corey also demonstrated leadership early as a Division I athlete at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he played collegiate soccer, served as team captain, earned Academic All-American honors, and helped lead his team to a Southern Conference Championship. He lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Mackenzie, and their three children – Cooper, Cora, and Lucy – and enjoys sports, coaching his children’s soccer teams, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Kevin is a relationship-driven commercial real estate professional with hands-on investment experience and a career built on serving customers. He grew up just outside of Fayetteville in the Clement community of Sampson County, North Carolina.
After graduating from North Carolina State University in 2004, Kevin spent 19 years as co-owner and operator of Carroll’s IGA in Stedman, where he developed strong skills in understanding customer needs, making sound decisions, and building long-term relationships. In 2023, he led the successful sale of the business, gaining valuable experience in valuation, negotiation, and managing complex transactions—ultimately transitioning into a career in commercial real estate.
Since 2016, Kevin has invested in and managed multifamily properties, land development projects, and site selection initiatives across Sampson and Cumberland counties. Today, he focuses full-time on commercial real estate, helping clients evaluate opportunities, navigate complexity, and make informed decisions that support their long-term goals. Kevin is married with two sons and enjoys the beach, fishing, and traveling.
With over 37 years of executive leadership, ownership, and entrepreneurial experience, Marty Cayton serves as Franchise Owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers, covering Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Greenville, NC—spanning much of Eastern North Carolina. He is a seasoned transaction professional, having personally started, bought, or sold more than 19 businesses, with experience ranging from Main Street deals to complex private equity exits. His background includes Managed IT Service Providers (MSPs), LMR communications, multi-location and franchise operations, and commercial real estate ownership and development, including 1031 exchanges. A recent highlight includes a seven-figure sale of his MSP business to a boutique private equity firm.
